In Memoriam: Ron Massengill

We are sad to report that long-time neighbor and WANT member Ron Massengill has passed away. Over the years, Ron served on the WANT board and the Land-Use and Zoning Committee. He was a fixture at neighborhood meetings and events, but more than anything he was a well-known and well-liked neighbor who contributed a great deal to our community.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, November 14th, from 1-4pm at the Benson Family Funeral Home. Details are available at this link.

Ron's family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ron's name to the Hero Initiative, which is a great organization that helps support comic book creators when they hit hard times and need some extra support. Ron's family felt that because Ron "was so passionate about comic books that this would be an amazing way to honor him and his legacy."
